ABOUT US
Senfkorn Energy Limited is a Ugandan-based consultancy dedicated to advancing rural development through renewable energy solutions, with a particular passion for mini-grid systems. We believe mini-grids are central to unlocking economic and social transformation in underserved communities.
Our mission is to enable the deployment of at least 500 mini-grids across Uganda by 2030, while also contributing to other clean and reliable energy access solutions nationwide.
WHAT WE OFFER
Senfkorn Energy offers a comprehensive suite of consulting services tailored to the renewable energy sector, with a strong emphasis on off-grid and mini-grid electrification. Our core services include:
- Advisory Services: Strategic and technical advisory for renewable energy programs, including feasibility studies, business model development, policy advisory, and impact assessment.
- Project Management: End-to-end project management services for renewable energy / energy access projects, including planning, procurement, implementation oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
- Capacity Building: Training and knowledge transfer programs targeting public and private sector actors to enhance local expertise in renewable energy / energy access in Uganda.
- Energy Access Solutions: While our focus has been and will always be mostly on minigrids, we are working on broader energy access projects beyond minigrids including solar home systems, clean cooking, and energy for productive use.
